Getting a Basenji after my Australian Shepherd taught me an important lesson: every dog is unique and requires different training approaches. While the methods may vary—what works for a high-energy Aussie might not suit a more independent Basenji—the core structure and end goal remain the same: a well-behaved, happy, and balanced companion. This experience has helped me understand the importance of tailoring training to each dog's personality while maintaining consistent principles.  She is now the official face of Stanley's K-9 Crew!
