Meet the Founder of Stanley's K-9 Crew

Stanley's K-9 Crew was founded out of a lifelong passion for dogs and their well-being. Growing up, I was surrounded by the joy and companionship that only dogs can bring. My first dog, an energetic and loving Australian Shepherd, became a cornerstone of my childhood, teaching me the importance of patience, responsibility, and unconditional love. This natural connection to dogs only deepened as I got older. My journey continued when I found Ahri, my loyal Basenji, whose unique personality and charm inspired me to make her the face of Stanley's K-9 Crew. Together, we've built a community dedicated to helping dogs thrive, driven by a shared passion for their happiness and care. Getting a Basenji after my Australian Shepherd taught me an important lesson: every dog is unique and requires different training approaches. While the methods may vary—what works for a high-energy Aussie might not suit a more independent Basenji—the core structure and end goal remain the same: a well-behaved, happy, and balanced companion. This experience has helped me understand the importance of tailoring training to each dog's personality while maintaining consistent principles.
